1. Receiving & Inspection:
Fresh grape leaves are collected at the optimal harvesting stage for tenderness and color. Leaves are inspected for size, texture, and overall quality.
2. Washing & Cleaning:
Leaves undergo multi-stage washing to remove dust, field residues, and any natural impurities.
3. Trimming & Sorting:
Stems are trimmed, and leaves are sorted by size and color to ensure uniformity.
4. Blanching:
Leaves are lightly blanched to stabilize color, soften texture, and prepare them for rolling applications.
5. Cooling:
Rapid cooling is applied to stop the blanching process and maintain leaf integrity.
6. Freezing:
Leaves are be frozen at −35°C to −40°C to preserve shape, prevent sticking, and maintain flexibility.
7. Metal Detection & Packing:
Frozen leaves pass through metal detection, then are weighed, layered or bulk-packed in food-grade packaging, and sealed in export cartons.
8. Cold Storage:
Stored at −18°C until loading into pre-cooled reefer containers.
Keep frozen. Do not refreeze once thawed.
Thaw under refrigeration before use for best rolling performance.
